Ambition of a mixed-use building inserted into neighborhood life

The diversity of spaces: bar, hotel, offices, and shops

With ‘diversity’ written into the program’s very DNA, the space allocation plan specifies the installation of offices and shops on the ground floor of the large tower, and suites of offices, a hotel, a restaurant and a bar in the small tower. Offering public access to these spaces ensures the creation of a social dimension. All members of the public will be able to visit the top floor of the smaller tower for social gatherings and to enjoy a unique view of southeast Paris. The hotel bar located on the 27th floor also boasts an exceptional panorama, giving viewers the impression of being immersed in the city.

A building active by day and by night

This project was designed to blend into its urban environment and to instill new life into the Bruneseau quarter. Traffic is created by the hotel, bar, and restaurant from late afternoon and into the night, and at weekends, too. The shops at the foot of the tower and the viewing platform higher up – all accessible to the public – allow the inhabitants to appropriate the space for themselves. On weekdays, the offices stir back into life with the arrival of Groupe BPCE employees. The challenge is to further amplify the diversity of uses of these spaces on a continuous basis.
